AMY! How are things? I get to comment on your work! Hooray!
So, right off the bat, I've... never seen this movie. I have, however, seen the title sequence - if you could call it that. Also, Drew has told me a little about the movie, so, I will do my best! :)
Apparently, Krista is going around, and in detail, explaining what we could improve on for our creative brief's, so I won't go into much detail. But there are a few things I'd like to comment on!
I think your perception/tone section has good information to base your title sequence off of. I especially like the "mementos of a relationship" idea. From what I know, ESotSM shows scenes almost randomly, as if a bunch of memories were poured out on the floor. I think basing a title sequence off this idea can be very effective - visually - to setting up the rest of the movie. Using aged and sepia toned photos compliments this idea (which you've commented on in your communication section).
I think the next step would to see some specific examples of ideas you're thinking about. Knowing you, you'll probably come up with the perfect idea, and execute it perfectly as well :P But that's YET TO BE SEEN (for this project)!
